How we helped BTI Group to double their organic visibility in a saturated US market
For this project, we collaborated closely with a local development agency, sharing both responsibilities and rewards. Given the project’s fast-paced implementation needs and specific CMS requirements, this partnership ensured we could move efficiently without compromising quality.
About BTI Group
BTI Group has been active in the US market since 2018, initially launching as an importer and distributor specialising in mobile and smart device software solutions. With a strong foundation in tech distribution, the company quickly gained traction by aligning with emerging consumer trends and offering scalable B2B solutions.
Today, BTI Group collaborates with a wide network of retail partners across the US, Europe, and the UK. Their portfolio has significantly evolved to include an extensive range of smart home devices, IT hardware, and integrated software solutions, catering to both consumer and enterprise needs.
Their ability to adapt to market demand while maintaining strong relationships with global retail chains positions them as a dynamic and forward-thinking player in the connected technology sector.
The challenge: speed vs. quality
BTI Group, a major US importer of smart home devices and IT hardware, faced a critical bottleneck. They needed to implement a complex CMS integration rapidly to keep up with market demand.
The risk? Moving too fast often breaks SEO. Operating in the fiercely competitive electronics market meant they couldn’t afford a “dip” in traffic during this transition. They needed a partner who could speak “developer language” while protecting their search rankings.
The strategy: collaborative technical SEO
Instead of working in a silo, KIND M3DIA embedded directly with BTI’s local development agency. We didn’t just hand over instructions; we shared the responsibility.
Forensic Audit: We identified toxic backlinks (disavowing bad domains) and structural gaps before writing a single line of content.
Agile Integration: We worked alongside the dev team to ensure the new CMS structure was SEO-proof from day one.
High-Intent Content: We launched a 6-month campaign targeting “commercial intent” keywords to capture buyers, not just browsers.

Seamless Collaboration: We integrated so well that we became part of the wider team. No “us vs. them”, just one unit moving fast without sacrificing quality.
Some of results obtained throughout our partnership:
- In first five months, the number of rankings increased by 45% (+925 terms), while the site visibility almost doubled.
- Referring domains increased by more than 150%, from 600 to 1.5K domains. Is worth mentioning that a disavow list of domains was submitted also due to low quality links identified during the Technical SEO Audit.
- Year on year, the total impressions doubled, while we’ve added more than 5K clicks.
